Maurice van de Wege is my persona for my paintings. I love to make paintings to let my emotions out and being physically creative. I make the paintings myself mostly on a canvas with acrylic and ink. ​ All the paintings are abstract. I like to express my emotions with colours and not being limited by any shape or form. It's important for me to let the viewers interpret the artwork for themselves. This is the reason why I don't explain the paintings. The strongest thing of an abstract painting are the different interpretations.
